Barry Grosse is the Chief Compliance Officer
(“CCO”) at Healogics, Inc., and is based in the company’s corporate headquarters located in Jacksonville, Florida. He is responsible for leading the Compliance Department and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Healogics Compliance Program.
Mr. Grosse has more than 20 years of work experience as an attorney and healthcare compliance professional. Mr. Grosse has worked with managed care companies, hospitals, physician practices, medical device manufacturers, durable medical equipment suppliers and other health care providers over the course of his career. He has extensive experience interpreting regulations, building, managing and improving compliance program infrastructure, driving change and creating the culture necessary to promote organizational compliance with governing laws, regulations and policies. He possesses a strong working knowledge of healthcare claims processing, as well as physician and institutional coding and billing requirements. In addition, Mr. Grosse has experience implementing corporate integrity agreements (“CIA”) between healthcare providers and the Office of Inspector General and administering and monitoring compliance program effectiveness in accordance with CIA requirements.
Mr. Grosse earned his B.S. in business administration from The Citadel, Charleston, South Carolina, and his J.D., cum laude
, from the Cumberland School of Law, Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama. He serves as a member of Samford University’s Master of Science in Health Law and Policy Advisory Board. He is certified by the Compliance Certification Board in both Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC).
