Devn Anderson Frandsen, D.O. Joins the Grand View
Wound Care Center® as Medical Director
(Sellersville, PA) – Devn Anderson Frandsen, D.O., has joined Healogics, Inc.as medical director at the Grand View Wound Care Center at Grand View Hospital.
Frandsen will lead a team of wound care specialists at the Center, which offers leading-edge treatments including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, negative pressure therapies, bioengineered tissues, and biosynthetics to reintroduce the body's innate ability to heal.
He was most recently on staff with Vista Health System, working at the Advanced Wound Center in Waukegan, WI as Wound Care Physician. He recently completed a Wound Healing and Tissue Repair fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine.
In joining Grand View Wound Care Center, a member of the Healogics™ network, Frandsen will collaborate with a network of academic medical centers, hospitals and thousands of professionals committed to advancing wound healing by creating, sharing, and activating wound prevention and care expertise.
Frandsen is a board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University and completed his residency in Pine Bluff, AR.
Frandsen was the recipient of the SAWC Spring “Wound Healing Fellow Scholarship award in 2013. He co-authored a study on the use of support surfaces to reduce pressure ulcers, and is currently writing fellowship curriculum and training materials for the American College of Wound Healing & Tissue Repair.
