Farron C. Hunt, MD, FAAFP, joins the Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas Wound Healing Center® as Medical Director
 
Beaumont, Texas (December 9, 2014) – Farron C. Hunt, MD, FAAFP, has joined Healogics, Inc. as Medical Director at the Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas Wound Healing Center.
 
Dr. Hunt will lead a team of wound care specialists at the Center, which offers leading-edge treatments including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, negative pressure therapies, bioengineered tissues, and biosynthetics to reintroduce the body's innate ability to heal.
 
Dr. Hunt received her medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch, completed an internship at Duke University, and completed her Residency at Baylor College.
 
In joining Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas Wound Healing Center, a member of the Healogics™ network, Dr. Hunt will collaborate with a network of academic medical centers, hospitals and thousands of professionals committed to advancing wound healing by creating, sharing, and activating wound prevention and care expertise.
 
Dr. Hunt is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians and American Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
