Healogics will participate in several fundraisers nation-wide to benefit the ADA and help improve the quality of life for people with diabetes. Healogics and their hospital partners treat chronic, non-healing wounds in 46 states, Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom with advanced care techniques and technology provided by clinical staff with specialty training. A large portion of Healogics patients include those affected by diabetes, which can cause diabetic foot ulcers and other chronic wounds. Nearly two million diabetic foot ulcers occur each year, and can lead to amputation is left untreated. By supporting the ADA with a fundraising goal of $200,000, Healogics continues to help as many patients as possible by the best means available.
“Healogics is excited to help thousands of diabetes patients by becoming a National Team sponsor for the American Diabetes Association. We will raise funds across the country to help prevent and manage diabetes, which in turn helps our diabetic patients,” said Jeff Nelson, Healogics CEO.
