Curtis D. Schultz, MD, joins the Catawba Valley Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric and Davis Regional Wound Healing Center as Medical Director
Hickory, NC (December 9, 2014) – Curtis D. Schultz, MD, has joined Healogics, Inc. as the Medical Director for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric and Davis Regional Wound Healing Center.
Dr. Schultz will lead a team of wound care specialists at the Center, which offers leading-edge treatments including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, negative pressure therapies, bioengineered tissues, and biosynthetics to reintroduce the body's innate ability to heal.
Dr. Schultz received his medical degree from University of Miami Medical School. He performed his family medicine Residency at the USAF Regional Hospital on Carswell Airforce Base in Texas.
In joining Catawba Valley Center for Wound Healing and Hyperbaric and Davis Regional Wound Healing Center, a member of the Healogics™ network, Dr. Schultz will collaborate with a network of academic medical centers, hospitals and thousands of professionals committed to advancing wound healing by creating, sharing, and activating wound prevention and care expertise.
Dr. Schultz is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American College of Sports Medicine and the Wilderness Medical Society. He is board certified in family medicine.
