Meet Paula Hough, Healogics High Impact Consultant
What is the greatest reward of working at Healogics?
For me the greatest reward of working at Healogics is assisting in the development of the clinical team: the Providers, Nurse Managers, Hyperbaric Safety Directors, RNs and Medical assistants. They all require continual knowledge in their area of expertise to deliver advance wound care to such a challenging group of patients. Witnessing their progression and how it aligns with our patients outcomes is what feeds my passion to never stop providing the support and education!
What are you most proud of in your work?
Personally, I am proud that just recently one of the nurse managers I hired and coached for 2 years ago has passed her wound care certification! Professionally, I am proud that on two occasions I was able to manage very challenging situations and accomplish a positive outcome for the Wound Care Centers as well as the hospital partners.
How does Healogics support your career development?
My manager takes time to meet with me weekly, providing support and feedback. The company as a whole supports my aspirations for growth and development by hearing me and allowing me the opportunities to be part of what is important to me. Work-life balance is valued. Regular updates are provided about our organization’s progress toward key objectives.
